Nuclear medicine imaging (핵의학 검사)는 radioactive tracers(radiopharmaceuticals)를 이용해 신체 기능 측정이나 질환의 진단, 치료를 하는 것
종류
- 99mTc-pertechnatate scan: 멕켈 게실, thyroid scan
- 131I MIBG scan: pheochromocytoma, Neuroblastoma, paraganglioma
- 99mTc-MIBI scan(sestamibi scan): Hyperparathyroidism(parathyroid adenoma, parathyroid hyperplasia), Myocardial perfusion SPECT, Breast cancer.
- Bone scan(Technetium-99m diphophonates, methylene diphosphosphonate, MDP, HDP)
- 131I NP-59: adrenal cortex, adrenal adenoma
- 99mTc-DTPA: renal scan, lung scan, RI cisternography.
- 99mTc-Phytate: sentinel lymph node scintigraphy, lymphoscintigraphy.
