Cocktail stimulation test

칵테일 검사(Cocktail stimulation test)는 hypopituitarism을 진단하기 위해 시행하는 검사로 주로 insulin, TRH, LHRH를 주고 뇌하수체 호르몬을 측정한다.

방법

• insulin->hypoglycemia->GH, ACTH (insulin induced hypoglycemia test가 가장 유효한 검사)
• TRH->TSH, prolactin
• GnRH->LH, FSH

주의

저혈당, 저혈압에 영향을 받을 수 있는 경우 주의해야한다.

• adrenal insufficiency
• 심혈관 질환
