디프테리아(Diphtheria)는 Corynebacterium diphtheriae에 의한 질환으로 pseudomembranous pharyngitis가 특징적이며 예방접종으로 보기 드물다.
임상 양상
- 원인: Corynebacterium diphtheriae의 exotoxin
- pseudomembranous pharyngitis: 흰색, 회색의 막으로 벗겨내면 피가 나오는 것이 특징적
- lymphadenopathy
- myocarditis, arrhythmia
진단
- ELISA for toxin
- Elek test(예전): pricipitin line(+)
치료
- Toxoid vaccine
