Pap smear

자궁 경부 세포진 검사(Pap smear)는 자궁경부암의 선별 검사이다.

결과

• Squamous cell abnormalities (SIL)
  • Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US)
  • Atypical squamous cells – cannot exclude HSIL (ASC-H)
  • Low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LGSIL or LSIL)
  • High-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HGSIL or HSIL)
  • Squamous cell carcinoma
• Glandular epithelial cell abnormalities
  • Atypical Glandular Cells not otherwise specified (AGC or AGC-NOS)

이후 과정

검사 결과에 따라 다음과 같은 검사나 치료가 필요

• ASC-US의 경우 colposcopy, HPV test 및 f/u pap smear
• ASC-H, LSIL의 경우 colposcopy, biopsy
• HSIL, AGUS의 경우 colposcopy, biopsy, loop excision
