Morel-Lavallée lesion

Morel-Lavallée lesion은 skin and subcutaneous fat tissue가 trauma에 의해 underlying fascia로부터 분리되는 closed degloving injuries이다.

임상 양상

• greater trochanter, femur가 classic location이나 어디에나 생길 수 있음.

Image findings

• Fluid collection between subcuatneous tissue and fascia.
  • variable signal intensity, fluid-fluid level

Differential Diagnosis

• soft tissue tumor such as hemangioma, sarcoma, fat necrosis, hematoma
