Paget disease

Paget disease(bone Paget's disease, 뼈 파제트병)은 Bone remodeling이 과도하게 항진되는 질환이다.

Clinical manifestation

• pelvic bone(m/c), spine, skull and proximal long bones

Imaging features

• Phase
  • Lytic phase : osteolysis, particularly affecting the skull(osteoporosis circumscripta) and subchondral long bones
  • mixed phase : subsequent development of trabecular and cortical thickening and enlargement of bone
  • blastic phase : sclerosis
• Pelvic bone: Triad.
  1. Cortical thickening and sclerosis of the iliopectineal and ischiopubic lines
  2. Acetabular protrusion
  3. Enlargement of the pubic rami and ischium

감별 질환

• Fibrous dysplasia: bone scan에서 마찬가지로 uptake 증가.
