Osteoid osteoma

Osteoid osteoma은 benign bone tumor로 a small radiolucent nidus가 특징인 종양이다.

임상 양상

• 10대, M(2-3배)>F
• Leg pain: quickly resolves(within 20 to 25 minutes) with NSAID
• The proximal femur(m/c)>tibia
• usually a solitary tumor.

Image features

• small, round lucency nidus(<1~1.5 cm in diameter) with a sclerotic margin in long bone, diaphysis cortex

감별 질환

• stress fracture
• subacute/chronic osteomyelitis with intracortical abscess
• osteoblastoma
• Brodie's abscess
