Actinomyces
Actinomyces(방선균, Actinomyces israelii)은 gram positive aerobe로 branching filaments가 있어 fungi처럼 보이는 특징이 있는 세균으로 비슷한 형태로 nocardia가 있어 구분하는 것이 중요하다
특징
- gram+, anaerobe, branch
- Not acid fast(norcardia는 weak acid fast)
- 구강, 생식기, 소화기의 Normal flora
- pus에서 Yellow sulfur granules이 특징적
- Aggresive nature(acrossing tissue plane)
