Paget disease

Paget disease(bone Paget's disease, 뼈 파제트병)은 뼈의 재형성이 과도하게 항진되는 질환이다.

Clinical manifestation

• pelvis(m/c), spine, skull and proximal long bones

Imaging features

• characteristic radiographic features
  • Lytic phase : osteolysis, particularly affecting the skull (osteoporosis circumscripta) and

subchondral long bones

• • mixed phase : subsequent development of trabecular and cortical thickening and enlargement of bone
  • blastic phase : sclerosis
• Pelvic bone
  • cortical thickening and sclerosis of the iliopectineal and ischiopubic lines
  • acetabular protrusion
  • enlargement of the pubic rami and ischium
