• The ductal configuration most commonly (60%) manifests as a bifid configuration with a dominant duct of Wirsung(main pancreatic duct).
• Less common configurations
  • an absent duct of Santorini(30%), a dominant duct of Santorini(accessory duct) without divisum (1%), and 'ansa pancreatica', in which the duct of Santorini forms a reversed-S shape and connects with a side branch of the duct of Wirsung.
